  • Abstract
    The meaning of the computer course in university lies in innovation and applications. How to cultivate students´ innovative ability is not only the first subject the teachers who work at the teaching forefront face but also the new subject the educational circle faces. This essay takes creative educational notion as guidance. It proposes firstly the importance that creative education shall be implemented in basic computer course. Then, it investigates and analyzes the teaching situations in current basic computer course in universities and the current implementation situation in creative education. Based on this, it discusses the methods to implement creative education in this course. After study, comparison and learning from the existing creative teaching model, creative teaching model of basic computer course has been built and applied to teaching practice. The teaching effect of this innovation teaching model is remarkable. This model is one of the feasible approaches to implement innovation education in basic computer course.
