Abstract :
This paper puts forward a sight teleoperation system to control underground LHD unit. The teleoperation system for underground LHD unit is necessary because of the harsh and dangerous environment. The operator uses the tele-controller to send instructions to the master controller on the simulation prototype of LHD unit by wireless communication, and then the implementation controller drives the devices based on the instructions. In addition, the security protection function is added in this system. The system has convenient manipulation, fast response time and strong anti-interference ability and so on characteristics, with which the simulation prototype of the LHD unit can be safe and reliable teleoperated. The effectiveness of the proposed controlling system is shown by experiments.
