  • Abstract
A wide-band full-wave analysis of an eight-pole inductive iris filter has been carried out using FDTD and matrix-pencil signal extrapolation. The efficiency of the analysis technique has been greatly improved by using a 2-D nonuniform mesh to model the filter. Modal extraction techniques for unmatched ports are used employing Berenger´s (1994) PML ABC. The computed S-parameters compare well with results from the literature computed using the mode matching technique.
