  • Abstract
It is important for startups involved in today´s wireless revolution to employ sound IP strategies. More specifically, copyrights, trade secretes, and maskworks can provide additional protection for a disclosure that is being patented. Furthermore, timing strategies should also be considered in fillings for a patent and obtaining FCC approval. Startups may also consider FCC´s competition policies as an incentive to create new applications for current and forthcoming wireless technologies
