  • Abstract
    The effective extraction of Transmission lines is a very important link in the process of UAV inspection. This paper firstly uses Sobel operator to detect the edge in the transmission lines image after pretreatment, and extracts transmission lines by the traditional Hough transform method. Then it puts forward two algorithms to extract transmission lines. They are the directional wavelet transform based on Hough transform method and the morphology based on Hough transform method. Finally, it compares the three methods on run time and extraction result. The results show that the two new methods based on Hough Transform not only accelerate system running, but also significantly improve the accuracy of transmission lines extraction.
