Constructing Korean lexical concept network for encyclopedia question-answering system

Advanced natural language processing technique is essential for the encyclopedia question-answering system. As an important knowledge base for our encyclopedia question-answering system, we have constructed lexical concept network for Korean nouns and verbs. This paper introduces the processes and methods of constructing lexical concept network, current status of the network built so far and how it is applied in the question-answering system.
