Abstract :
The report gives a survey of component failures, variation in the wear of line fittings along overhead lines, the influence of the operating condition on wear and available operation strength of the fitting. Wear is a time-dependent deterioration which is possible to detect and assess under development, and further it seems to be possible to point out the most probable sites for wear of conductor support fittings
