Electrical ageing test of connectors used on overhead (OH) aerial bundled conductors (ABC)

Equipment of the junction connector or derivation connector type used on the French low voltage overhead (OH) aerial bundled conductors (ABC) were subjected to the following test procedure: insulated conductor connection equipment for low voltage aerial networks and services. Electrical ageing test: HN 33-E-61 (August 1985). This work, conducted within a mixed workgroup composed of manufacturers, users (EDF) and independent laboratories, has brought some precision on various points, which can lead to better reproducibility of tests.
