  • Abstract
    Based on the experiment and analysis of the base materials recycled from Beijing-Shanghai Expressway, the property of those materials is examined to determine whether they can meet the requirement for road base and sub-base of various grades. A mix design is therefore proposed along with reasonable construction techniques. An optimal way of utilization needs to be found and the economic and social benefits are analyzed. This can serve as a reference for large-scale application of the recycled base materials from the expressways.
