Abstract :
In this paper, we constructed different scenarios and variables were calculated to examine the impact of system availability on computer networks infrastructure. Our goal is to determine the adequate level of system availability and Total Cost of Ownership. These variables are related to changes in the system availability, cost and revenues. It considers different architectures with their dependability models and uses the performance model to analyze the variation of traffic in real scenarios. It uses Stochastic Petri Net as an enabling modeling approach for analytical evaluation.
