Abstract
In this talk, I will discuss fabrication and application of quasi phase matched (QPM) devices in ferroelectrics, techniques specific to QPM interactions such as engineering the amplitude and phase of nonlinear interactions with aperiodic QPM gratings, novel applications of QPM interactions in areas such as communications and quantum optics, and extension of QPM techniques to iii-v and ii-vi semiconductors
