Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to introduce an analytic affine transformation estimator based on the phase of two multidimensional analytical signals. Adapted to RF with transverse oscillations image model, the proposed estimator is shown to be more accurate than classical intensity based affine estimation. Applied to cardiac motion estimation, the proposed approach is shown to decrease by 20% the standard deviation errors reported to a recent phase-based method.
