Abstract :
The latest PMaC performance prediction framework has been augmented to reveal the predicted memory execution time for each basic block of a target code, so that "hot spots" for memory-limited applications can be identified. This paper provides a discussion of the underlying methodology as well as a memory-based profile of AVUS. AVUS is a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code developed by the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory to determine the non-linear response of a structure in a fluid.
