Abstract :
In current passive acoustic detection forewarning systems, the single cross-array acoustic detector cannot detect a distant target. The paper presents a new system with multi cross-array detectors, in which a large cross-array detector is designed. The paper proves that the new structure can obtain higher localization precision. Moreover information fusion theory can be applied to develop greater detection precision.
