Abstract :
This work addresses the optimization of maintenance procedures of oil immersed, distribution type power transformers. The relevant aspects of RCM-reliability centered maintenance-as frequency and type of failures, useful life expectancy, monitoring techniques, diagnosis and repair methods, replacing times, are here considered and analyzed.
