Abstract :
A dynamic COD value simulation is carried out by a simplified anaerobic digestion mathematic model (ADM). The whole anaerobic process is separated into hydrolysis stage, hydrogen and acetic acid production stage, and methane production stage. ADM 1 model is reconstruction in this paper, including assumption of the simplified anaerobic digestion model, simplify of kinetics equations of bacterial growth and substrate material balance equations. Then Runge-Kutta method as the numerical integration is applied into solution method. The results indicated that simplified model used less parameter to simulate treatment process of the industrial wastewater. But these parameters need to be modified during practical industrial waste water simulation.
