Abstract :
Base on the SEGY seismic data file structure, time slicing and arbitrary horizon extraction algorithm and their implementation have been discussed, which can prepare a variety data sets for reservoir prediction method. Actual oil field 3D seismic data is used to prove the correctness of the algorithm. Practice shows that the time slicing and arbitrary horizon extraction algorithm are fast and accurate, which can be widely applied to reservoir prediction study.
