Abstract :
A new theory on tuning-off degree in compensation network is adopted to realize direct measuring this key parameter of power network. With high precision. the measuring error is not more than 0.56 %. with good real-time property the measuring procedure is less than 20 seconds. There is no interference between measuring equipment and power network and no special communication is required. The real-time inspection and measuring system of a network controlled by microcomputer is designed and can inspect and measure the tuning-off degree in a wide range of [-96 %, 84 %]. The system can communicate with the automatic-tuning mechanism so as to take corresponding protection measures to make power the network operate safety.
