Abstract :
The appearance of the grid puts forward a new challenge to transaction processing. In order to satisfy the requirement and characteristic of the grid database transaction processing, the paper proposes a long-lived transaction processing architecture for grid database. This model satisfies the dynamics of the grid environment. It supports the long-lived transaction. A transaction mechanism and coordination algorithms are proposed for the long-lived transaction in grid database.
