Abstract :
This paper presents an approach to investigate the sensitivity of harmonic distortion computing due to digitalization rate and windowing method. Dependency of digitalization rate, synchronization to fundamental frequency and windowing is investigated using mathematical modeling, computational simulation and laboratory experiments with a harmonic source. Results have shown the dependency of harmonic distortion to digitalization process and numerical methods used. A formulation to configure digitalization rate and windowing is proposed.
