Abstract :
Though OPC technology can be applied to solve multi-platforms´ integration and data access problems of DCS control system, it needs to implement an OPC server for each different data platform. To solve this disadvantage, this paper puts forward a development model of OPC data access based FDT technology which can cross many platforms. In this way, the model solves the problem that development of OPC servers is not independent of fieldbus protocols, device manufactures and device types in the DCS system.
