Abstract :
The present paper offers a geometric technique for calculating highly accurate point clouds from an image stack of two-dimensional medical computer tomography (CT). A new algorithm is presented herein to construct a point cloud from computer tomography (CT) scan image. The main device of the present method relies on a combination between full advantage of digital (CT X-ray) and computer technology to proceed an image processing techniques for achieving the point cloud matrix. Point clouds are constructed via a certain way of prediction and extraction contours from (CT) image. The point clouds are utilized to construct the actual dimensions of a scanned knee joint with sub-pixel, which are used to separate each bone individual as a point cloud matrices by a new technique.
