Abstract :
Reliability centred maintenance (RCM) represents a conception of using the feedback of power installations field operation in the predictive maintenance of such equipment based on their reliability calculations. The present paper proves, using new arguments, the influence of technological designs upon certain power apparatus maintenance strategies. From the analyses and considerations made, an obvious opportunity of more extended research in the field exists
