  • Abstract
Differential lines offering superior immunity to crosstalk and external noise are suitable for high-speed clock circuit. This paper first gets the power plane stricture resonance, and then using mixed-mode S-parameters analyzes the interaction between the differential lines and the power plane structure. The more asymmetric differential lines, the higher resonant amplitude excited by the differential-mode signal is. The common-mode resonant amplitude has little change in comparison to the differential-mode one. Power/ground plane resonance to the differential-mode transmission parameters is of little influence, even if the apparent asymmetric. However, the effects of resonances on common-mode and cross-mode are larger multiple than differential-mode.
