Abstract :
Generally considering, although the ability of the conventional electronic computer is unassailable in performing sequential task, DNA computing, compared with the conventional electronic computer, has shown natural advantages in solving the problems, which exist everywhere and can be solved by an exhaustive search through all possible solutions. To take advantage of both virtues, a new organizational model of DNA computer with coprocessor is presented here. The intent of this model is to try integrating both computing paradigms into one machine. In this paper, we also show the conventional electronic computer organization, and discuss the principle, the computational completeness and universality of DNA computing. In addition, we describe the structure and function of coprocessor, and conclude with a discussion of future work
