Abstract :
The mixed qualitative and quantitative information increase the difficulty for managers to evaluate the alternative schemes in project management. And the Approach of Ordered Weighted Geometric Averaging Operator (OWGA) is introduced to solve the problem with the mixed information of the influence factors. Taking the e-business project evaluation of company X for example, the synthetical evaluation values of the alternative five schemes are computed. The results indicate that the scheme (scheme 5) that is of low risk and cost but of acceptable return, market effect and brand effect would be implemented. The results are line with the actual situation and operational reality and the robustness is proved significantly. And the total computation work can be done by simple software and little manpower, so the effectiveness is assured. Therefore, the applicability of OWGA in commercial project management is proved significantly.
