Abstract :
An ANN (artificial neural network) is used to model the characteristics of the central air-conditioning system, while a global search routine GA (genetic algorithm) is used for global optimized control. This paper describes the integration of ANN and GA used in a central air-conditioning system. Several different optimized control strategies based on GA and ANN simulation were compared with the normalized control strategy. An advanced control scheme was achieved.
