Abstract :
Two novel CPW-fed disc antennas etched with C-like slots are proposed with the impedance bandwidths ratio (VSWR ≤ 2) are 10.6:1 and 12.6:1. The antennas are successfully simulated, designed, and measured, showing the advantages of super wide band, stable gain and omni-directional radiation patterns. They are compact dimension and single-sided, can be easily integrated with monolithic microwave integrated circuits.
