Abstract :
Ultrasonic metal welding using conventional linear vibration, high frequency vibration systems, two-vibration system for larger welding specimen, butt welding for larger thick welding specimen and complex vibration are studied. Ultrasonic plastic welding using high frequency, two vibration systems and welding system with fundamental and higher resonance frequencies are studied. Various ultrasonic metal and plastic welding systems are developed, and welding and frequency characteristics of ultrasonic metal and plastic welding are described.
