Abstract
By means of the principle of information entropy, the authors established a comprehensive assessment model of crop cultivars, proposed a new method of poly-target comprehensive assessment for cultivars. Combining an actual example of regional test of wheat cultivars in South Huanghuai Plains in 2005-2006, application of the method was recommended, and some significant conclusions were drawn. This showed that the method had an important guiding meaning for evaluating cultivars objectively and scientifically.
