  • Abstract
    Collision detection algorithm can improve the realistic and immersion of 3D scene, is becoming one of the researches in the field of Virtual Reality. At present, in large and complex scenes, traditional collision detection algorithms exist the problems of low detection efficiency and poor accuracy. In view of above question, this paper manage to combine the Sphere with the OBB method, that is, first calculating preliminarily by Sphere, exclude objects do not intersect obviously; then calculating accurately, find the collision object. Experimental results show that, Compared with the ordinary OBB algorithm, this algorithm can significantly improve the efficiency and accuracy of collision detection. It proves that the improved collision detection algorithm has practical value.
