Abstract :
In the present paper, a Bessel-Gauss resonator supporting Bessel-Gauss modes at millimeter wavebands is designed and analyzed. Based on the quasi-optical theory, the Bessel-Gauss resonator is constructed. In order to calculate rigorously the resonating modes in the designed Bessel-Gauss cavity, the iterative Stratton-Chu formula (ISCF) method is employed. Using this method, the Bessel-Gauss modes in the cavity we designed are computed and analyzed. Numerical results and conclusions are given in our paper.
