Abstract :
A growing number of heterogeneous smart mobile devices continue to emerge with varied input and output ways and interactive styles which aroused researchers´ concern of UIDL in HCI again. This paper analyzes new issues emerging in mobile HCI now, then summarizes the characteristics UIDL for smart mobile devices should have, furthermore we propose an UI transformer can help developer make highly abstract description of the user interface to alleviate the contradiction among heterogeneous devices, then the clients on different devices interpret the description into real interface component according to their platforms and characteristics.
