Abstract :
With the expanding use of digital data over the internet, more and more attention should be paid on the security of digital data. In this paper, we propose an asymmetric watermarking scheme for integrity verification of relational database. The watermarked database can be generated only by the owner with the private key and can be verified by the public with the public key. The proposed scheme does not require any additional storage to store the verification information, nor does it introduce any distortion to original data. Experimental results show that our scheme can perform well in real databases.
