Abstract :
The huge amount of heterogeneous material data on the Web makes it increasingly difficult for users and computer applications to find and access required information because their semantics are not understandable by machines. Integrating such heterogeneous material data sources is a critical issue for the material scientific community. A lot of data integration initiatives have been implemented. But these solutions vary widely in term of quality, maintenance, applicability and do not cover the full semantic requirement for easy and seamless sharing scientific data among applications. This paper presents a flexible framework for more semantic integration of materials scientific data.
