  • Abstract
    Incorporating game with intelligent learning environment has always been a subject for research and development in intelligent tutoring system(ITS). This paper proposes a new design of artificial pet game-based ITS(APGITS) which makes use of the design experiences of both traditional ITS and artificial pet games. The pet module in APGITS are flexibly designed, which does track the learner´s activities and analysis their learning progress. Based on this structure, an artificial pet game-based ITS, called space-travel-with-my-pet (STMP), is developed bringing educational advantages to the learning process.
