Abstract :
The traditional z-source has some flaws such as higher capacitor voltage, larger startup surge current and so on when it works, while, the new-style z-source has some strong points such as lower capacitor voltage, adopting appropriate soft-start strategy to limit surge current, reducing the current stress or the voltage stress of the switch components, low implementation cost, etc. The article has discussed the development of the digital controlling new-style z-source voltage-source inverter which applies to photovoltaic lighting system of ship. For making the DC link voltage of z-source inverter constantly, voltage feedforward and feedback control method is introduced in z-source inverter system. the SPWM modulation method is introduced in the inverter, and the appropriate strategy of soft-start is taken to reduce surge current in starting. The results of experiment show that the voltage stress of component is low, startup surge current is low, the output voltage is stable and the device works reliable, it achieves satisfactory effect.
