Abstract :
In our research, the researcher integrated the ARM-Based Embedded system, the USB interface, and telecommunication-based techniques to develop a cost effective and user friendly Embedded USB Homecare Internet System. The USB interface is designed as a core technique of the system and the ARM microprocessor is implanted to achieve the performance of USB host and biomedical requirement devices as USB slave devices. The interconnections of the USB slave device can expand to several equipments to form as a homecare internal network. The USB HUB is connected to the Embedded USB Homecare Internet System and these three different class homecare equipments are easily extended: the Infra-Red Thermometer (USB HID class), USB Blood Pressure Monitor (USB Mass Storage class) and Pulse Oximeter (USB Communications Device Class).
