Abstract :
Through the constant development of wind energy technology, installed wind turbine capacity is higher and higher. It challenges the safe operation of the entire grid that Large-scale wind power access to power system. The low voltage ride through (LVRT) technology is a much hotter grid-connected problem of wind turbine, especially the over-speed problem of LVRT. In this paper, we focus on the method to solve the over-speed of LVRT. The over-speed fault reason of LVRT is analyzed in this paper, and through that we can find the suitable method to solve the problem. The feasibility of this method is proved by LVRT testing results in wind farm.
