Abstract :
This paper deals with a diffusive predator-prey model with a functional response presented by Schenk based on the experiment tests. Based on an auxiliary lemma and by comparison principles, the ultimate boundedness, extinction of prey and permanence of system are investigated. The presented results are all applicable to such realistic cases as Hassell-Varley constant σ = 1,1/2 and 1/3.
