Abstract
In computer application systems, such as automatic control system, distributed application, there are much data. From this, we can acquire meaning or meaningless information because of our views. In fact, the data also includes one special kind of information named Health. The relation between services and requirements is discussed and it is proposed that adaptability is the measure of system health information. The conception of health and measure is elaborated from the viewpoint of three factors consisted of substance, energy and information for application system. Moreover, the method of health measuring is proposed from the definition for data structure to adaptability assessment in detail. Finally it provides the simulation of assessment method. And at the end of the article, the two tasks of health management are pointed out.
