Abstract :
A new fuzzy PID compound controller and its design method for an AC servo motor drive system are presented in this paper. It combines the advantages of fuzzy control and PID control, and overcomes their individual insufficiencies. The method of designing the controller is easy and it can be applied conveniently in engineering. Simulation results show that the fuzzy PID compound control has better robust performance than PID control
