A portfolio potpourri

Summary form only given, as follows. There has been a great deal of interest over the past several years in how to use portfolios for various purposes. The members of the panel have considerable experience (both positive and negative) with the use of portfolios for a variety of purposes. Each will discuss one way in which portfolios are currently used; cite specific examples; discuss the pros and cons; briefly discuss the related theory/ rationale; and prepare a short bibliography including, where appropriate, contact people who have used portfolios in a particular way.
