Abstract :
In this paper, a multi-layer power divider with a broadband behavior is presented. It has a compact size with an overall dimension of 30 mm × 35 mm. The proposed power divider operating at S-band adopts elliptical shape based on multilayer technology in order to achieve a broadband performance. The simulated results are compared with the measured data, and good agreement is reported. A resistor is also used to enhance the isolation between the output ports of the power divider. The measured -13 dB return loss bandwidth is demonstrated to be about 90%.
