  • Abstract
    Order processing is one of the most important functions of Telecom IT system. As the final step of order processing, order closeout becomes the bottleneck of entire order processing procedure in one of the subsidiaries of China Telecom. Stochastic Petri net was used to analyze current system and several proposed improvement solutions. Based on the modeling and simulation result, a QoS-aware solution was selected as the guide to future system improvement, which may increase the system load capacity by about 40 percent.
