Applying for the automatical temperature and humidity instrument weekly, in view of residence dispersion in cold pastoral area and low building density, combining the climatic characteristics in Inner Mongolia region, measures seven typical thermal environment of herdsman residential building and analyses their characteristics on the basis of the measured data. The results indicates that there is a great difference in the different resign and living condition and indoor temperature is low and a fluctuation from 3 V to 19 V. Suggesting indoor temperature between 14 °C and 18 °C is suitable and it is necessary to take the heat insulation measures in building envelope.
