Abstract :
Based on the principle of the orthogonality of subspace of the fetal electrocardiogram (FECG) transient vector and subspace mathenal electrocardiogram (MECG) transient vector, a singular value decomposition (SVD) method in terms of signal energy distribution is derived. The signal paths in the pregnant woman´s chest and abdomen do not have to be orthogonal. A signal weighting algorithm in terms of different electrode positions is presented. The block diagram of the hardware design for implementing this algorithm is discussed. The hospital experiments show good agreement with the theoretical analysis
