  • Abstract
    The CIN01 system is a standard IN product developed by BUPT under the sponsorship of China `863´ high technology programme. The CIN01-A system, the DOS version of CIN01, is built on LAN with high reliability. We present the reliable strategies for the CIN01-A system, based on the concept of `FT-couple´, and discuss in detail its topologic architecture, the fault tolerant mechanisms within the FT-couples and among the FT-couples, the software self checking and mutual monitoring of the workstations and so on. Finally, we sum up the features of this strategy and mention some subjects which are worth studying further
