Abstract :
This session assembles contributions that address the efficient handling of SystemC models. The availability of a SystemC Front-End is often the prerequisite for an efficient analysis of source-code models. The first paper in this session not only presents a survey of currently available solutions but also compares theoretical and practical limitations of these tools. Simulation speed has been a key driver for the introduction of the TLM modelling style. Parallelisation or accuracy adaptation can further improve simulation speed but are hard to combine. The second paper describes a dynamic load balancing technique to implement the efficient execution of dynamic accuracy models on parallel machines. Two short papers conclude the session. The first describes a technique that enables the design of efficient simulation TLM performance models. The second paper proposes a specific TLM modelling style for complex networks-on-chip leading to more efficient simulation models.
