Abstract :
A novel dielectric radiator of microwave chemical reactor, is presented by considering an integrated design of impedance matching, pressure design and radiation uniformity. A suitable geometry is obtained by optimizing the structure parameters of the dielectric radiator. Computation results show that the electric field is distributed more uniformly in the reaction solution by using the dielectric radiator than a conventional microwave window. The measured reflection coefficient of the dielectric radiator agrees with the simulated result, which is less than -10 dB between 2.4 GHz to 2.5 GHz.
